The guesthouse location is beautiful, with an amazing view of Table Mountain. 

What really stands out is the excellent service from the staff. They are genuine, super friendly and helpful, and take the time to advise and recommend day tours & activities and go the extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. 

All in all, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Acorn House to anyone visiting Cape Town!

Staying at Acorn House was one of the highlights of our trip to Cape Town!

The guesthouse is located in Oranjezicht, a beautiful, quiet residential area that feels extremely safe. It’s perfectly located to explore most of Cape Town’s main attractions via Uber taxi as well as the wineries outside the city.

All the staff are amazing, warm, welcoming and provide excellent recommendations on what to see, where to eat, and how to organize our days to make the most of our time in Cape Town.
We explored the Cape Peninsula with a tour guide via the guesthouse and truly recommend this experience.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Very fresh and plenty of options for different tastes and preferences. The staff were very helpful with planning our daily activities and making dinner reservations for us every night. Beautiful gardens and comfy beds - Perfect stay!

A charming, historic guesthouse built in 1904 with original wooden features and floors. Tastefully decorated and a beautiful garden - a very special and homely place.

The property is located in a leafy residential area, close to Cape Town City Centre and is a gorgeous traditional 'Cape Dutch' guesthouse with comfortable and nice rooms - our personal favorite!

The perfect place to start or end your holiday! Lovely, clean rooms filled with natural light and tastefully decorated – beautiful garden! Delicious breakfast with many options to choose from. A great stay and if ever back in Cape town, we’ll definitely stay at Acorn House again.

A grand ‘Old Lady’ but very well maintained, in good condition and located in Oranjezicht, a relaxed residential area close to the city centre of Cape Town. Easy access to the V&A waterfront, Beaches and Sea Point via Uber taxi which is reliable and affordable.
